Where is Hwy 43 Self Storage located?
Hwy 43 Self Storage is located at 801 E Centralia Street, Elkhorn, WI 53121.
What are the office hours?
Tuesday & Thursday: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
What are the access hours?
Self Storage 6 AM to 9 PM
Climate-Controlled 6 AM to 7 PM
Do you require a security deposit?
No, we do not currently require a security deposit.
Are there any administrative fees?
Yes, we have a non-refundable administrative cost of $25 which is intended to defray some of the initial set-up, preparation, and other costs incurred when entering into a new self-storage rental agreement.
When is rent due today?
The rent is due on or before the first day of each month.
What are the payment options?
We encourage you to enroll in our AutoPay. To take advantage of this service, please enroll online or in person at our business office.
You can also pay your unit online or give us a call at the office. We also accept payments in person using cash, check, or credit card including VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
What is a climate-controlled unit?
These units are cooled in the summer and heated in the winter. Our temperature-controlled units maintain a temperature of 50 to 80 degrees. Severe hot or cold temperature swings can damage items such as wood furniture, electronics, art, photos, various forms of plastics, and so on. No worries about mold, mildew, rust, corrosion, and other items that may be susceptible to temperature and humidity damage.
What documentation do I need to rent a unit?
You will need one form of current federal or state-issued identification with a valid photograph and signature on it, such as your driver’s license. You will need a phone number where we can reach you if needed as well as a credit card and a valid email address.
For vehicle storage, RV, or boat storage you must have insurance and additional documents on all vehicles. In addition, if you choose not to enroll in our tenant insurance, you must have proof of insurance.
What if I have a late payment?
Hwy 43 Self Storage provides a five-day grace period before charging a late fee on the 6th day past a payment due date. Get in touch for additional information.
How do I access my unit?
Use your personal gate code for secure entry and exit. The code allows monitoring of who is entering and exiting the facility.
What items am I not allowed to store?
Perishables, plants, animals, stolen or illegal goods, flammable or hazardous items, combustible items, or liquids.
